Terry Schallich As a former COO and Head of Investment Banking, Terry Schallich was a member of the senior leadership team that transformed Pacific Crest Securities, based in Portland, Oregon, into a leading independent global brand in tech investment banking and institutional brokerage. The firm was relied on by many of the sector’s most notable public and private companies and institutional investors and grew to have team members in Portland, Boston, New York, San Francisco, Beijing, Shanghai, Taipei and London. Terry continued as Head of Technology Corporate and Investment Banking with KeyBanc Capital Markets, Cleveland, Ohio, for several years following its acquisition of Pacific Crest Securities. He began his career at United Technologies Communications Company, the telephony hardware subsidiary of aerospace and building systems conglomerate, United Technologies Corporation. Terry currently serves as an advisor and mentor to tech startups and executives.

Terry is board chair of the Oregon Region of Positive Coaching Alliance, serves on the planning committee of the Portland Interscholastic League Foundation’s Golf Open and supports Big Brothers Big Sister Columbia Northwest among others. Previously, he was a member of the board of trustees of the International School of Portland. 

He has three children – all attended the International School of Portland. His son attends graduate school at Georgetown, having earned a BA from Stanford, while his daughters attend UC Berkeley and DePaul.

Terry received his BA from Yale, graduated from South Umpqua High School and first attended Stanford circa 1968 as a camper at Stanford Coaching Camp.
