Chartered Counselling Psychologist
London/Cotswolds, England
Suzi Doyle is a Counselling Psychologist in private practice in London, England, an Integrative Psychotherapist, and an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society. Over the past 20 years, she has provided psychotherapy and counselling to adults with a wide range of emotional and psychological concerns. Before founding her private practice, she worked within the UK National Health Service (NHS) specialising in the treatment of severe eating disorders.
Her clinical interests center on trauma and healing, particularly complex (developmental) post-traumatic stress disorder. Suzi continues to deepen her expertise through advanced training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and in emerging psychedelic-assisted therapies. She plans to pause her private practice to undertake a sabbatical year at Stanford, creating space for reflection and renewal while exploring how insights from her fields of interest might be applied more broadly to human wellbeing.
Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, she emigrated to Australia after schooling and completed a BSc in Computer Science at the University of Melbourne. She worked as a software engineer in both Melbourne and London before retraining in psychology, completing a BSc in Psychology and Counselling at the University of Roehampton and a Doctorate (DCPSYCH) in Integrative Counselling Psychology and Psychotherapy at Middlesex University.
Suzi divides her time between London and the Cotswolds in England, where she lives with her husband, Gavin. Their two adult daughters are based in New York and London.
