Gavin Doyle is a Board Director and former Managing Director whose portfolio career spans investment banking and asset management across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). He has specialized in global structured finance, secured credit, and fixed income and loan markets.
As a Managing Director of Germany’s Erste Abwicklungsanstalt (EAA), the state agency tasked with winding down the multi-billion, multi-currency assets and risk exposures of former German Landesbank WestLB, Gavin led teams actively managing large portfolios of leveraged finance, infrastructure, shipping and aviation loans, and mortgage-backed securities. Previously he held senior management and client-facing roles at Deutsche Bank and Morgan Stanley International in Global Fixed Income, and more recently has been active in alternative asset capital raising and fund finance.
Gavin is committed to mentoring young professionals and promoting access to affordable, values-driven education for K–12 students. He serves on the board of the Saint John Southworth Catholic Academy Trust, which oversees ten Catholic schools in London.
He graduated from Wesleyan University (BA Economics/History/Government/Philosophy) and was the eldest member of the 2017 Stanford GSB Ignite Entrepreneurship Program in London.
For more than three decades, Gavin and his wife Suzi have been dedicated custodians of a remote, non-commercial game reserve in Botswana’s Tuli Block, working to conserve its unique ecosystem and support the local community. He is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society.
The Doyles divide their time between London and the Cotswolds in England, with their two adult children based in New York and London.
