Dona GreenDona Green is a strategic operations executive with over 30 years of experience driving transformational change in the healthcare industry. She has a proven ability to understand stakeholder needs and conduct thorough analyses to support executive teams in addressing complex operational challenges.

Dona began her healthcare career as a mergers and acquisitions consultant before joining NYC Health + Hospitals Corporation (H+H), the largest public health system in the U.S. During her 30-year tenure at H+H, she held progressively senior roles, including AVP of Strategic Planning Services, Interim CEO/COO of Queens Hospital Center, and VP of Enterprise Post-Acute Care Services. In these positions, she led strategic initiatives that improved service delivery, patient and staff satisfaction, and financial viability.

Dona earned a BA in Business Administration, focusing on economics and organizational theory, from Antioch College, an MBA in Finance from New York University, and an MA in Aging Services from the University of Maryland-Baltimore County. To complement her professional skills, she has also received three yoga teacher certifications.

In 2017, Dona transitioned to consulting and secured New York State’s largest capital grant ($700 million) for One Brooklyn Health (OBH), leading to her role as the inaugural SVP of Strategic Planning. At OBH, she managed the historic capital grant and advocated for engineering consulting support to develop an enterprise energy sustainability plan.

Recognized with accolades such as the Healthcare Heroes Award and a Notable Leaders award from Crain’s, plus extensive experience and commitment to community-focused healthcare, she is well-prepared for her next chapter as a Stanford DCI Fellow.
