Community volunteer and former CPA
Neptune Beach, FL

Nancy McClung was born and raised in New York’s Hudson River Valley until she moved in high school to the wide open plains of West Texas. A fish out of water, she chose to attend a small liberal arts college in Texas, Southwestern University, that had the feel of a northeastern college.

There, she studied economics and business and she received General Motors’ award for national liberal arts student of the year. It was also there where she met her husband of 30+ years, Brett. After living for several years in Austin, Texas, they moved to Fort Worth, where they raised their two daughters. They currently divide their time between Colorado, Florida, Texas and now, California.

Professionally, Nancy obtained her CPA and worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers until she founded her own firm, Horn & McClung LLP, which provided litigation support. In the past decade, Nancy has focused on volunteering in her community in the areas of education, health care, and the arts. She is an avid reader, daily walker/hiker, aspiring kayaker, and a recuperated skier. A committed student of lifelong learning and of the liberal arts, Nancy is thrilled to return to the life of a scholar and is drawn to finding wellness solutions to the growing issue of loneliness and disconnection impacting all generations in our increasingly virtual world.
