Brett McClung is a seasoned healthcare executive, devoted to transforming the healthcare ecosystem by redesigning and successfully implementing population health models, alongside investing in consumer/technology driven transformation strategies that improve health, wellbeing, and chronic disease outcomes.

Brett is the former President & CEO of Baptist Health, a $2B integrated healthcare system with over 200 locations in Florida. Immediately prior, Brett was a Chief Operations Leader at Texas Health Resources, a $5B integrated healthcare system with over 350 locations in north Texas. He has been asked to serve on the boards of directors for both public and private companies. As founder of Stark Advising, LLC, Brett is also an advisor to venture and private equity backed healthcare endeavors.

He has been a speaker for industry, academics, national media and the Global Health Summit in Brussels. He is a Marshall Memorial Leadership Fellow, representing the United States in advancing transatlantic relationships and also a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Brett is an alumnus of the Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania. He has an MS in healthcare administration from Trinity University, where he is chair of the department’s Advisory Council on curriculum, and has a BA in Business from Southwestern University, where he met his wife, Nancy. They have two grown daughters in the Bay Area.
