Laurie Stearn is a creative and accomplished marketing/business strategy executive with decades leading marketing initiatives at major companies and higher educational institutions.

In 2019, Laurie established Stearn Solutions, a marketing, brand, and business strategy practice, providing guidance to Fortune 500 companies, social media content creators, and educational institutions. In addition, she sits on the board of directors of Monytize, a Los Angeles-based streaming, social media, and ecommerce start-up.

Prior to Stearn Solutions, Laurie had leading roles at many firms/entities in the marketing field including leading the midwest region of advertising industry trade association, 4A’s, being a founding executive at the largest advertising agency start-up in history, Element 79 Partners, teaching advertising & sales promotion, co-directing the Consumer Marketing Academy, and being a leader in the graduate career services office at the Indiana University Graduate School of Business, serving as a marketing executive with Walt Disney Parks & Resorts in Orlando, Florida, and beginning her marketing career at renowned Chicago advertising agency, Leo Burnett.

Laurie’s first job after Virginia Tech was serving as the high school company program manager at Junior Achievement of Santa Clara County, Inc. In this role, she created a program approach that received national recognition (under her guidance, the Junior Achievement students won 25 national awards in 4 years, unequaled before or since) financial stability, and high levels of volunteer engagement.

An MBA graduate of Indiana University and a graduate of Virginia Tech, Laurie is a Chicago resident, an avid traveler, a pop culture enthusiast, and a current events & politics junkie.
