Ruby Zefo, JD Ruby Zefo is a technology company legal executive with over three decades of experience. Her career has included leading global privacy, cybersecurity legal risk management, and AI governance programs that foster responsible innovation. While leading these data-related functions, she made significant contributions to their integration and alignment.

Ruby currently serves as Uber’s first Chief Privacy Officer where she leads the global privacy and cybersecurity legal teams, created and co-chairs Uber’s AI Law & Ethics Council, and leads a variety of teams dedicated to diversity and inclusivity. Prior to Uber, Ruby was a Vice President at Intel Corporation, holding legal leadership roles in privacy, cybersecurity, AI products, intellectual property, corporate responsibility, and more. Her career history also includes a variety of attorney roles at Sun Microsystems, and litigation associate at Fenwick & West. Ruby has also served on start-up advisory boards and industry boards.

Ruby holds a B.S. in business administration with highest honors from the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley, and a J.D. from Stanford Law School. She is looking forward to being back at The Farm!
