Jeff JacobsonJeff Jacobson is the former Global Chief Executive Officer of LaSalle Investment Management. In this role, Jeff built and led a global real estate investment platform with 15 offices across North America, Europe, and the Asia Pacific regions and over $70 billion in assets under management. During his long career with LaSalle and its predecessor companies, Jeff lived and worked in London and Singapore in addition to Chicago where LaSalle is headquartered. He has real estate investment experience in a variety of geographic markets, asset sectors, investment structures, and risk-return strategies.

Jeff currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Cadillac Fairview Corporation, one of Canada’s leading owners, operators and developers, and is an advisor to its parent, The Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan. He is an independent board director of Realty Income Corporation, the largest global real estate net lease investor. Jeff is also a Senior Adviser to The Vistria Group, a private investment firm focused on investing in essential industries such as healthcare, financial services, and housing where he advises the team leading Vistria’s real estate fund investing in affordable and workforce housing. Jeff currently serves as Chairman of Stanford Professionals in Real Estate (SPIRE), which is the real estate organization serving Stanford alumni and students engaged with and interested in the real estate industry.

He holds a BA (’83) degree in economics and a MA (’84) degree from Stanford’s Food Research Institute. Jeff and his wife Marian have three daughters, two of whom attended Stanford for undergraduate and graduate education.
