Uwe StegemannUwe Stegemann is a former Senior Partner at McKinsey & Company, Inc., board member, investor and social entrepreneur. He has 35 years of experience in the financial services industry and in management consulting.

For the past 30 years, Uwe has worked for McKinsey & Company, Inc. in its German, Boston/New York and Singapore Offices, serving companies in banking, insurance, asset management, logistics, retail and pharma as well as regulatory and supervisory institutions on a variety of topics incl. strategy, organization, process optimization and operations, risk, capital and balance sheet management, channel management, marketing, customer experience, technology and HR management. Prior to McKinsey, Uwe worked for banks in Germany, Luxemburg and the US.

As one of its co-founders in 1993, Uwe has also served as the Chairman of the Board for McKinsey for Children, a charity supporting 15+ projects globally with the goal of providing children in dire circumstances with access to education.

Uwe has studied economics, business administration and finance at the Universities of Cologne/Germany, Ècole des Hautes Ètudes Commerciales (HEC)Paris/France, Pennsylvania State University/USA and National University of Singapore.

Uwe is passionate about sustainability and entrepreneurship. While at DCI, he wants to explore an opportunity to establish the equivalent of the Munich Security Conference on sustainability, together with the appropriate partners, and further detail two potential business opportunities in the FinTech and pharma space.
