Andrey KolosovsklyAndrey Kolosovskiy has pursued a diverse career, beginning with a successful diplomatic tenure before transitioning into executive roles in the media and IT industries.

Most recently, Andrey spent over nine years at Microsoft’s Corporate External and Legal Affairs Department as Director of its Moscow section and a member of the European Leadership Team. In 2018 he moved permanently to New York City, providing some advisory services on IT industry and international public policies.

In 1997 Andrey concluded his diplomatic career as Russia’s Ambassador to the UN, WTO and other international organizations based in Geneva. Shortly thereafter he joined Russia’s first private media holding company as Deputy Chairman and Executive Vice-President. He spearheaded various international projects, including the launch of a 24-hour live pay TV platform covering Europe, Israel, North America and Australia.

Following this, Andrey established an advisory service specializing in media projects, market and policy risk assessment, having some major US corporations, law firms and consulting companies as his clients. In his official and business capacities Andrey has been involved in numerous negotiations, consistently striving to understand cross-cultural interests and motivations of all parties to reach mutually acceptable solutions.

Holding a bachelor’s degree from Moscow Institute of International Relations, Andrey earned a master’s from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. His son, based in Washington D.C., works in the IT industry.
