Helen Szteinbaum, the former Executive Director and Vice President, Board Member of The Wonder Years Preschools, Inc. in Los Altos, CA, boasts a diverse educational background. She embarked on a four-year journey in Dental School at the UCV Central University of Venezuela School of Dentistry before earning an associate degree as a Registered Dental Hygienist from Chabot College and an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education from Foothill College.
Driven by her passion for both oral health and childhood education, Helen has dedicated her career to nurturing the development and well-being of young minds. Her multifaceted experience equips her with a unique perspective on holistic childcare and education, guiding her advocacy for quality early childhood education.
Helen’s roots trace back to Venezuela, where she was born and raised, instilling in her a profound appreciation for diversity and cultural heritage. Spanish being her first language, she prioritizes linguistic and cultural inclusivity in educational environments. Beyond her professional commitments, she enjoys culinary exploration and outdoor escapades.
In addition to her professional achievements, Helen cherishes her role as a devoted mother, having raised two children, a boy and a girl. Sadly, her family endured the loss of their son during the recent pandemic, an experience that has profoundly shaped her outlook on life and resilience.
