Sheila Wright is the former Founder and CEO of Ann Williams Group, a global consumer goods company known for its innovative products and exceptional design. Under her leadership, the company became a highly regarded category leader, setting new standards in product innovation and consumer experience. Sheila led the development of hundreds of unique products across six brands, earning over 100 industry product awards. She also developed an extensive intellectual property portfolio which included dozens of utility patents. Over the course of twelve years, Sheila’s strategic vision and product development expertise led the company through continuous growth while inspiring creativity in millions of children and adults around the world. Sheila exited the company in 2021 through a private equity acquisition.
Sheila holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and began her career in the automotive industry, working at General Motors and Stellantis (formerly Chrysler) in product development and management roles. After 15 years in the industry, she paused her career to focus on parenthood before returning to launch her entrepreneurial venture.
Sheila is sharing her DCI journey with her husband, Dan. They have two children, and together, they enjoy epic hiking adventures and some very competitive euchre. Sheila also enjoys biking, pickleball, and making things.
