Liz Dolan has long had one foot in the corporate marketing world and the other in creative entrepreneurship.
She’s served as CMO at some of the most successful brands in the world, including NIKE, Inc., OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Channel and The National Geographic Channel. Liz has also launched media efforts that advance new voices, including Satellite Sisters, a long-running, award-winning podcast for women, and The Magic Boost, a program that trains diverse young creators for jobs in sports media.
Liz is a Founding Member of Oregon Sports Angels, which invests in the next generation of early-stage sports companies with a focus developing founders from underrepresented groups. She was also a Member of the Board of Directors of Oregon 22, the organizing committee that brought the Track + Field World Championships to the United States for the first time ever in 2022.
She is a graduate of Brown University with a BA in Comparative Literature and completed the Executive Marketing Course at Stanford University.
She’s written for fortune.com and huffingtonpost.com and has published two books as part of the Satellite Sisters brand: Satellite Sisters Uncommon Senses (Riverhead Books/Penguin Putnam) and You’re The Best (Prospect Park Books).
Liz grew up in Connecticut but has lived in the west for most of her adult life – first Portland, Oregon and now Santa Monica, CA.
