Nancy Carlson is a widely admired global executive known for operating with integrity and creativity over a remarkable 38 year career with ExxonMobil. She advanced through roles of increasing responsibility across operations, marketing, corporate public affairs, sales, and ran large global business lines across multiple sectors. Nancy modeled authentic leadership and garnered respect from business partners, the teams she oversaw, and the highest levels of the company’s leadership. She forged key global relationships with partners and customers.
Nancy made her mark on ExxonMobil through business results and in the development of the next generation of leaders.
Most recently, Nancy served as Vice President of one of ExxonMobil’s four downstream global business units, the Aviation & Marine Global Business Unit ($12B revenue) and was a member of the Downstream Global Leadership Team. Prior to this role, Nancy was based in Singapore where she led the Asia Pacific Lubricant business growing margins +26%. As the Strategic Global Accounts Director, she was responsible for global accounts including the Global Motorsports programs (Penske Racing, Porsche and McLaren F1). She was the Executive sponsor for the Women’s Interest Network and led the Downstream Women’s Leadership Team.
Nancy has served on boards in business, non-profits, and the arts over the last 20 years and continues to invest her energy in people, currently as a Board Member of “Fully Charged for College.”
She graduated with a BA in Economics from Wheaton College in Massachusetts and has attended Executive programs at Wharton, Kellogg, Darden and Columbia.
