Jessica Tuchinsky has worked 30 years in the entertainment industry, as a talent agent and film and television producer. Jessica worked at the Creative Artists Agency for 15 years where she represented actors, directors and writers, including Uma Thurman, Bill Murray, Steve Kloves, Steven Spielberg, Martin Scorsese and Peter Weir.
In 2005, she partnered with her long-time client, director Mark Waters (Mean Girls, Freaky Friday) to form Watermark Pictures, which was based at Paramount Pictures. Jessica has produced numerous films and television series, including 500 Days of Summer, Mr. Poppers Penguins, and Ghosts of Girlfriends Past.
Most recently, Jessica is completing production on the television adaptation of John Green’s celebrated debut novel, Looking for Alaska. Hulu/Paramount Television will begin airing the eight-part event series in the Fall of 2019.
Jessica was nominated for a Golden Globe in 2009 for the film 500 Days of Summer. The film had its world premiere at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival.
She has a BA in International Politics and Economics from George Washington University.
