Sunanda is a botanist, yoga enthusiast and an entrepreneur. While her daughters were younger, she chose to be a stay-at-home mom and thoroughly enjoyed raising them. At that time, she was also actively involved with the Singapore American School Community. Sunanda has travelled to over 47 countries and is still counting! She has lived in the US, India, China, Japan and Singapore. She speaks English, Hindi, Japanese and is now learning Chinese.

Sunanda’s interests include cooking, yoga, gardening, reading, tennis and Mahjong. She has taken her passion for cooking, yoga and nutrition to new levels by attending global conferences and by pursuing an Executive MBA to explore these interests professionally. At her company, Pavitra, she organizes health workshops, retreats, lectures, cooking classes, culinary and wellness travel.

Sunanda’s volunteer activities are focused around the Singapore Children’s Cancer Society and the Singapore Botanical Gardens. She is also an active member of Toastmasters International.

Sunanda has a Master of Science degree from Patna University, India and an Executive MBA from Nanyang Business School at the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. She recently completed an Advanced Management Program at University of California Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and an Excellence in Finance program at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Ravi and Sunanda have three adult daughters who make them very proud.
