Frances is a writer whose best-selling non-fiction titles cover politics, sports, self-help and motivation. Her works of fiction have been published throughout Europe and she has written for a wide range of British and Australian print media. Frances has covered news, sports, education, health and politics for the BBC and independent TV and radio in the UK.
Frances began her career as an international conference interpreter for the European Commission. She then worked for a wide range of international organizations and governments including heads of state and government at their World Economic Summits.
After her transition to writing and broadcasting, Frances became heavily involved in helping global businesses to communicate effectively with their diverse range of stakeholders.
In 2000, she helped to create a specialist London-based construction company and, in 2009, became director of The D Group, the UK’s foremost business development network.
Frances is an ambassador for Kidney Research UK and a long-term patron of Wellbeing, the charitable arm of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. At her alma mater, she has helped promote the “Pathways to Success” initiative designed to inspire and support talented young women from under-represented and under-privileged backgrounds to apply for admission to Cambridge University.
