Consultant, Board Member
Steve Maupin is a former management consulting partner and practice manager with Alvarez and Marsal, Hitachi Consulting and Arthur Andersen. He has also held executive roles in the healthcare, defense and high-tech industries. Steve is the outgoing Board Chair of the Sepsis Alliance and continues to be a board member. He was a past member and Board Chair of the west coast chapter of the National Kidney Foundation. After leaving Alvarez and Marsal, Steve has been working with several private equity firms on improving the performance of their portfolio companies.
Steve and his wife Kim are both widows with a combined family of five kids in their 20s. In 2008 Steve donated a kidney to Kim’s Stanford roommate at Stanford Hospital.
Steve has a BA in Economics from Colorado College and a Masters in International Management from Thunderbird.
Steve’s passions include going on vacation with his wife, hanging out with his kids, scuba diving, fly fishing, mountain biking and white-water kayaking.
