Ramon Segismundo is the CEO of One HRX, a consulting start-up he founded that serves various clients in different industries in Asia. Before this role, he was Senior Vice President, Human Resources(HR) and Corporate Services for the Manila Electric Company and its subsidiaries until 2018. Previously, he was Vice President, HR-Asia Pacific for Pharmaceuticals and Global Nutrition of Wyeth/Pfizer based in Collegeville, Pennsylvania, USA; Vice President, HR-International of GlaxoSmithKline headquartered in London, UK; and Vice President, HR-Asia Pacific for GlaxoSmithKline and predecessor companies located in Singapore.
Ramon graduated with a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) from the Singapore Management University (SMU) in 2020. He completed an executive coaching certification from the Berkeley Executive Coaching Institute in the same year. Ramon holds a Master in Business Administration from the University of the Philippines. He is a member of the SMU International Advisory Council; Chairman of the Strategic HR Committee of the Management Association of the Philippines and a part-time faculty of the Graduate School of Business of De La Salle University (Philippines) focused on Strategic Management. Previously, he was the People Management Association of the Philippines(PMAP) People Manager of the Year in 2014, President of PMAP in 2017; Chairman of the Philippine Basketball Association in 2013; and President of the PMAP Foundation in 2020.
Ramon resides in Singapore with his wife, Maria Iren. They have two adult children, one based in Singapore and the other in Seattle.
