Kim is the former CFO of Unity, a software company focused on real-time 3D development and monetization, where she led the company’s IPO in 2020. Prior to Unity, she served as CFO and head of HR, IT, and customer support teams at a number of technology start-ups, including Weebly, a website and eCommerce development platform; Path, a mobile social networking company; and Lytro, a company that developed the world’s first consumer light field camera.
Prior to this, Kim spent two years at Goldman Sachs in technology investment banking and eight years at Google, building and growing financial planning and analysis teams, in support of sales, product, and engineering. She also led investor relations for two years. Prior to her career as a finance executive, Kim spent eight years with Accenture designing and building software applications for companies across the globe, including a year in Switzerland where she learned to ski, and a year in Argentina, where she learned to love a good cortado.
Kim grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and earned an engineering degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign as well as an MBA from Harvard University. She is currently a member of the board of directors of FedEx, Turo, and Lucid Software. She is delighted to share the DCI experience with her partner, David Ciulla.
