Jose Revuelta is the former President/ CEO and current co-owner of SuperMax, a supermarket chain based in San Juan, Puerto Rico. During his 17-year tenure, Jose helped grow the company to 20 supermarkets, an online division, and a wine and liquor division. Prior to his role at SuperMax, Jose led the sale of the leading supermarket chain on Puerto Rico to Walmart.
As the son of a college professor, Jose is passionate about education, serving in different educational institutions at high school, college, and nonprofit levels. He has participated in Ignatian spiritual exercises almost every year for the past 33 years, enjoys traveling with his family, reading biographies of leaders, and is a baseball and tennis fan.
Jose has been married to Maria Teresa Pacheco for over 30 years. He is the father of two adult children; a son who lives in San Juan and a daughter who lives in Seattle. Jose has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
