Melissa Hollatz recently completed a wide-ranging career at the law firm of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where she practiced corporate and securities law with a particular emphasis on mergers and acquisitions. She advised public and private companies on corporate representation and corporate governance throughout their life cycles, with a focus on technology companies. Melissa has extensive transaction experience, including mergers and acquisitions, public and private securities offerings, venture capital financings, and other strategic transactions.
In addition, she served in multiple leadership roles while at the firm, including service as co-chair of the firm’s Pro Bono Committee for over a decade and participating in the creation of and co-chairing the firm’s Culture Committee.
Melissa is also deeply invested in giving back to the community through board service. She currently sits on the board of three non-profits: The Law Foundation of Silicon Valley, where she currently acts as board chair; Next Door Solutions to Domestic Violence; and Project Happiness.
She grew up in Montana (including on a dude ranch operated by her family) before moving to California to attend Stanford University as an undergraduate where she received a degree in Psychology; she remained at Stanford to earn her law degree.
Melissa lives in Redwood City, California, with her husband Joseph Weber. She is a devoted equestrian and animal lover, and can most often be found at a barn with her dog, Bruno, by her side.
