Among his notable achievements is establishing Cervejaria Devassa, a pioneering brewery that garnered significant success and was subsequently acquired by Heineken.

In addition to his entrepreneurial endeavors, Marcelo actively participates as a limited partner in Mergus Ventures and Saasholic in Brazil, and he serves on the Board of Directors for Mergus Ventures.
