Lawyer and former head of Global Markets Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP
As a practicing lawyer Julia Randell Khan specialized in international banking. She had a pioneering Knowledge Management (KM) role at international law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer being appointed the first KM lawyer for the global finance practice and later developing the KM function across the firm’s international offices. She was involved in reshaping the firm’s strategic approach to KM and, as head of global markets, marketing and business development, worked on the firm’s relationship program with leading law firms around the world.

She works closely with Fair Trials, a specialist human rights NGO. Her passion is working with senior women as they transition from long term careers. She has established the Women in Transition network to support growth and development from change at this point in life.
