Bill King has more than 20 years of experience in the financial markets including banking, asset management, and technology with senior roles on both the buy-side and sell-side. Bill was formerly the head of global securitized products at JP Morgan and head of securitized products at Citadel Investment Group.
Bill is currently an investor and an active advisor and board member in the venture capital space focused on early-stage technology companies.
Bill and his wife, Lesley, own the “Back 40 Farm”, where they grow organic vegetables and flowers. Additionally, they own two award-winning restaurants, “Back 40 Kitchen” and “Mill Street Bar” as well as a general store, “Back 40 Mercantile”, all in Connecticut.
Bill is on the board of directors of the Stone Barns Center for Food & Agriculture, Greenwich Land Trust and is the board chair of Enveritas, an organization providing certification and verification to small-scale coffee farmers around the world. He is also co-head of the Trinity Church council in Greenwich, Connecticut.
Bill holds a bachelor degree in finance from Syracuse University and an MBA from New York University.
