Tamara Cogan comes from an international, multi-cultural background – born in South Africa, lived in Israel, studied in the UK, and has worked in her professional career in three continents. Tamara joined Stanford in 2008 working at Bechtel International Center, which assists foreign students coming to Stanford. In 2011 she changed direction from inbound international students to outbound Stanford students, and joined the Bing Overseas Studies Program (BOSP), Stanford’s undergrad study-abroad program, supporting the senior management.
In June 2017, Tamara joined the Distinguished Careers Institute as the Executive Assistant to Philip Pizzo. She is delighted to be part of the DCI team!
