Nancy Baumann joined the Stanford Distinguished Careers Institute in January 2016. As Associate Director she oversees program development, administration and evaluation, and serves as an expert advisor to Fellows regarding Stanford’s curricula and programs.
She brings 20 years of Stanford experience to the Distinguished Careers Institute from both the academic and central administration sides. Nancy began her career at Stanford in the Graduate School of Education, serving in a variety of roles in Student Services, Human Relations and Admissions. For the last 8 years she managed programs for University IT technology training, campus readiness and mobile devices, and also founded the Stanford Media Group. In addition to her broad experience in higher education, she has held positions in corporate and educational policy arenas.
Nancy earned a BA in Psychology from Illinois State University and an MA in Education from San Francisco State University.
