Kristin Goldthorpe joined the Stanford University Distinguished Careers Institute in December 2013. In her role she manages the strategy and execution of external and internal communications emphasizing the Stanford DCI program’s pillars of purpose, community, wellness and intergenerational engagement. This includes developing stories and other content, website maintenance and social media work, as well as a weekly e-newsletter that provides a brief overview of programming, procedures and other timely information to enable participants to be successful in their new environment.
She started at Stanford in 2003 working in the Dean’s Office at the School of Medicine where she managed a variety of projects and events over a ten-year period. Prior to Stanford, Kristin worked in marketing communications for several high tech firms in Silicon Valley.
Kristin received her BS in Marketing Management from Cal Poly, Pomona and studied International Business at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark.
