Teresa Briggs spent her 37-year career with Deloitte LLP where she served at various times as a Vice Chair and managing partner of the West Region, San Francisco and Silicon Valley. She was the first female managing partner in the over 100-year history of Deloitte’s Bay Area practices. She also served as a member of the Deloitte USA LLP board of directors and for 12 years was the global lead client service partner for Apple Inc. Teresa currently serves on the board of ServiceNow.
In addition to her responsibilities at Deloitte, Teresa held a number of professional and community positions. She was a member of the Executive Committee of the Bay Area Council and is currently a member of the boards of directors for the California Academy of Sciences and the University of Arizona Eller College of Management. In addition, she is a member of C200 and the International Women’s Forum.
Teresa has been recognized as Alumnus of the Year by the Eller College of Management, a Legendary Woman of Heart by the American Heart Association and has been named both a San Francisco and Silicon Valley Woman of Influence. She is a frequent speaker on topics including board diversity, sponsorship and inclusion and was a Stanford Entrepreneurial Thought Leaders speaker.
She holds a BS degree in Accounting from the University of Arizona, Eller College of Management. Teresa lives in Hillsborough, California and adores her son who attends Villanova University.
