Karin Meyer has over 25 years of experience managing highly complex technical initiatives at public financial services companies. She has held executive level positions in product and program management, as well as chief architect and vice president of infrastructure and has been responsible for delivering on initiatives totaling over $300 million in investment. She has been a strong advocate for gender diversity in STEM throughout her career, having founded and led the Women in Tech communities at both Charles Schwab and Intuit, and served on the advisory board for the AnitaB.org. From 2013 to 2016, she served as CEO of Indiforce, a social enterprise focused on creating a fulfilling and reliable full-time career alternative.

Karin’s current focus is to promote and assist social enterprises in creating positive global impact. In addition to her own consulting practice, she serves as a board member for Citizen Schools California, a partner at Silicon Valley Social Ventures, and as a mentor for both the Miller Center at the University of Santa Clara and the Big Ideas contest at UC Berkeley.

Karin holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in computer science from UC Berkeley and the University of Washington, Seattle.
