Jim Rymarcsuk is a senior executive and entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience in growng technology companies. His specialty is harnessing disruptive technologies to create new businesses that meet unmet societal needs. Most recently he was the chief strategy & marketing officer for Honeywell Aerospace, a $15 billion diversified technology company, where he led their transition to a software-industrial leader and created the Connected Aircraft. He is a global business leader with experience in over 70 countries, including billion dollar operations in China, India, the Middle East and Europe.

He helped start-up iRobot, and as SVP of sales & marketing, grew the company into the world leader in mobile robotics and one of Forbes magazine’s “Top 5 Fasting Growing Tech Companies in 2009.” In addition to his entrepreneurship, he has been an executive at multiple large industrial companies including Lockheed Martin and Rolls-Royce in London. He has also advised many other Fortune 500 companies as a strategic management consultant with McKinsey & Company. Jim served as an officer in the US Air Force and at NASA, where he was a rocket scientist.

Jim holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree from Stanford University in mechanical and aerospace engineering, an MBA from Golden Gate University, and a master’s degree in technology policy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He was a National Science Foundation Fellow, a White House Fellow national finalist, and studied abroad in France and Russia. He is married, has a daughter in college, and is a private pilot (in training).
