Lorraine Fox, former Partner, Director, and Board member of Aspiriant LLC, an investment advisory firm, also built a career spanning marketing and venture capital.
Lorraine began her career at Sun Microsystems, Inc. when it was a small, private company and participated in its extraordinary rise to become the fastest growing enterprise company of its time. She had roles in strategic marketing, product management, and finance. She then led a product line at Oracle, doubling revenues year-over-year, and joined a venture-backed start up as V.P. Marketing. After a successful acquisition, she led software investing as a General Partner at a venture capital firm, then decided to learn public market investing and joined a wealth management firm.
She is an experienced board member, having served on numerous enterprise software and wealth management firms and on governance, compensation, and audit committees.
Since she matriculated from Stanford, Lorraine has “paid it forward” by serving as an alumni representative of the Commission to Reform Undergraduate Education, an alumni mentor, reunion co-chair of fundraising for her reunions, a Director of Stanford Professional Women Alumni Club, a Director of Stanford Women on Boards, and currently as an Executive Committee member of Buck/Cardinal. She was named a Stanford Associate, an honorary organization for alumni volunteer service.
Lorraine is an avid Stanford sports fan and regularly attends athletic events. She is a fitness enthusiast who enjoys weight lifting and walking. In addition to obtaining her A.B. from Stanford, Lorraine received her M.B.A. from the University of Chicago GSB.
