Chris has over 35 years of experience in the consumer products and technology sectors, including innovation roles at Procter & Gamble and Nestle, as well as senior leadership roles at several early stage companies such as Pets.com and The RealReal.

Chris’s general management expertise is in bringing start-up companies to scale. Most recently, he was EVP of Operations at The RealReal, an online luxury resale marketplace for fashion, jewelry and watches. As a pioneer in the circular economy, The RealReal has extended the life of over 6 million items of value and is on pace to surpass $1 billion in annual revenue.

Chris’s interest is in applying his consumer innovation and executive leadership experience to addressing the growing challenges of climate change.

Chris holds a bachelor’s degree in Television/Radio from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and an MBA from the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University.

Chris and his wife Nancy, a DCI Fellow, reside in San Francisco.
