Thomas Sadler recently retired from his position as a partner in the law firm of Latham & Watkins LLP, a global firm with over 2000 attorneys and offices in leading financial centers in the United States, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Over his 32-year career with the firm, Tom represented investment banks, private equity sponsors, corporations and entrepreneurs in cutting edge high yield, leverage finance and merger and acquisition transactions. Although he worked in many industries, key areas of focus were supermarkets and “big box” retail, oil and gas and casinos/gaming. Tom served twice on the firm’s Associates (partnership promotion) Committee, served as the Corporate Department Chair in the Los Angeles office for many years and also served as the Global Chair of the firm’s Corporate Department from 2000 to 2005. Tom’s wife is Dr. Eila Skinner, Chair, Department of Urology, Stanford School of Medicine.
He earned his BA from Stanford, his JD from UCLA School of Law and is pursuing a masters degree from the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy, Tufts University.
