Principal Consultant, Interfácil Usabilidade
Adriana Betiol is the founder and principal consultant at Interfácil Usabilidade de Sistemas Ltda, a usability and user experience consulting company based in Curitiba, Brazil. She has over 20 years of experience as a researcher, consultant and trainer in human-computer interaction.
She was a Professor at the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná for 16 years where she taught Human-Centered Design for both undergraduate and graduate programs. Among other publications, she is the co-author of “Human Factors and Usability: principles, methods and applications” (3rd edition, 2015). Adriana is a member of UXPA (User Experience Professionals Association) and a former UXPA Regional Director for Latin America. For her volunteer work with UXPA she received the Usability Service Award in 2008 and the UXPA President’s Award in 2015.
Adriana holds a BS in Mathematics from the Federal University of Paraná, and a MS in Electrical Engineer and Industrial Informatics from the Federal University of Technology-Paraná and a PhD in Production Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina.
